Materials, Care & Certification

We are the manufacturers. Our jewelry is made in our own facility, which gives us full control over quality, craftsmanship and sourcing. Here is exactly what goes into your piece and how to look after it.

Materials

Natural diamonds: 100% natural, never simulated, never undisclosed lab-grown. Our white diamonds are graded SI clarity ("eye-clean") or higher.
Solid gold: 18K for the majority of our collection, with some pieces in 14K. Durable, high quality, and made to be worn every day. Each product page states the karat.
18K gold plated: our FREY collection uses 3-micron 18K gold plating over a 925 sterling silver base. Each product page states clearly whether a piece is solid gold or plated.
Natural gemstones: including sapphires and Zambian emeralds. Sapphires are the second hardest gemstone and resist everyday scratches. Store gemstone pieces separately from other jewelry.

Caring for your jewelry

Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, then dry gently.
Store in a dry place, ideally in a pouch or jewelry box, away from other pieces.
Avoid strong perfumes, chlorine and household cleaning products.
For gold plated pieces, take extra care: keep them away from water, sweat and cosmetics, and store them in a sealed pouch when not worn. Plating wears gradually with use.

Diamond certification

Every diamond is natural. If you would like independent verification, we offer HRD certification. HRD is one of the leading gemological labs, and a certificate can be useful for insurance and resale.
